MEET KRIS LANGWORTHY

Some Lessons Can Only Be Learned In The Storm

Kris Langworthy has navigated the kind of challenges that test everything you thought you knew about leading. And she’s built a life’s work out of helping others do the same.

Beyond the Credentials

Real World Experience

Kris grew up on a dairy farm in rural Minnesota. She learned early what it means to show up, work hard, and navigate whatever the season brings.

That mindset anchored her through 30+ years in healthcare as a registered nurse, nurse instructor, and workplace chaplain. During that time, Kris learned to walk alongside leaders and organizations in their hardest moments, integrating whole-person wisdom with practical leadership strategy.

Through these experiences, she noticed a pattern: the leaders with the biggest hearts often carried the heaviest burdens. They held a profound sense of responsibility for everyone around them, quietly wearing a superhero cape that grew heavier by the day.

Her mission is to help leaders move beyond the cape, build with intention, and create meaningful impact, so they can thrive without sacrificing their well-being.

One Question That Shifted Everything

When her young daughter was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor, Kris understood the clinical implications of the diagnosis. That night, alone with her thoughts and prayers, she discovered a simple but profound shift…

The quality of our questions determines the quality of our outcomes.

That single shift didn’t just change the trajectory of her family’s experience. It became the foundation of everything she now teaches leaders.

She’s watched that same instinct, reacting with “why” instead of “where” show up in boardrooms, team meetings, and a myriad of high-stakes decisions ever since.

“Why is this happening?”
